Covid-19 Update - Guidance on Parks, Open Spaces, Cemeteries & Allotments
Blaby Parish Council have been following government guidelines and the parks, open spaces, cemeteries and allotments are all still open.
This is includes:
Mill Lane Cemetery
Enderby Road Allotments
For us to be able to keep these spaces open for you, we kindly ask that you ALWAYS observe the social distancing guideline and keep 2-3 metres away from others at all times.
If you feel unwell or are showing symptoms of Coronavirus, please DO NOT visit any of our open spaces.
Please only use the open spaces for your one hour exercise and if you can, please walk to your chosen destination.
Remember to only visit alone or with members of your household.
Please try and keep your dogs on their leads at this time to prevent the need of getting too close to other people.
The cemetery remains open for people to visit their loved ones but we ask that you continue to observe the social distancing guidelines.
Funerals must be attended by immediate family members only and have no more than a maximum of 10 people present, in addition to the funeral director, ministers or celebrants.
Please respect our guidelines as these are temporary measures to keep you and your family safe.
Blaby Parish Council will keep you updated if and when the guidelines change and/or new measurements are put into place by the Government.
