As of 29th July 2020, the Parish Council owned playgrounds and gym equipment within Blaby shall re-open.
We kindly ask that people use all of the equipment responsibly, not using the equipment if you feel unwell, observing social distancing where possible, sanitising hands before and after use, taking all rubbish with you when you leave the park and being mindful of other users.

This is a reminder that the parks in Blaby continue to stay closed. There has been some confusion about whether or not they are open but they will remain closed until further notice.
The Parish Council have given great thought to the guidelines surrounding parks and open spaces and feel that, at this time, the Parish Council cannot implement all guidelines well enough to keep residents safe.

The road under the railway bridge, next to Northfield park will be closed overnight on Monday 27th July 2020 at 10pm until Tuesday 28th July 2020 at 6am.

In March those most at risk from Coronavirus were advised to stay at home until the end of June. The Government remain committed to supporting this group as long as they are advised to shield.

New rules on face coverings coming in on Monday will help keep passengers safe.
